Why Picosure Pro?

Unlike traditional lasers, which rely on heat to destroy tattoo ink, the PicoSure Pro laser uses photomechanical energy to target and shatter the ink into tiny particles, resulting in better clearance of the tattoo and fewer treatments.

PicoSure laser technology is designed to break down tattoo ink into tiny particles that are easily eliminated by the body, without harming surrounding skin. The treatment is quick and efficient, offering impressive results after as little as one session.

Where traditional laser tattoo removal can take several sessions to achieve the desired results, PicoSure tattoo removal can achieve the same in half the time.

How many treatments will I need?

It typically takes multiple sessions to see results, and the number of sessions will vary depending on the size, age, location of the tattoo, as well as the type of ink used. In general, most patients require multiple treatments to achieve optimal results.

Treatments are typically spaced 8-10 weeks apart for the body to heal and for the immune system to eliminate the broken-down ink particles.

What does tattoo removal feel like?

Discomfort is based on each individual’s pain tolerance and the size and location of their treatment area.

For many patients, the feeling of laser tattoo removal has been compared to what it feels like when getting a tattoo, or being hit with a rubber band repeatedly, however the treatment is very fast.

A Zimmer Cryo Chiller which is a skin chilling device is available during treatment to help minimize any discomfort as well as ice packs.
